Our nursery is open 51 weeks of the year. We close for the Bank Holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year. We close for 1 inset day each term. Our core hours of operation are 8am-6pm with the option of an early drop off at 7.30 and a late stay until 6.30. These will need to be booked in advance. An additional shorter session of 8.30 am – 4 pm has also been introduced.

You will be pleased to hear that we are eligible to receive government funding so children can have 15 or 30 hours nursery education and care per week starting the term after their third birthday.

Funded Early Education (FEE): Funding streams, as explained below, are based on either up to 15 hours or 30 hours per week for 38 weeks per year (term time only), which equates to a maximum of either 570 hours or 1140 hours per funded year.

At Tiny Oaks Day Nursery FEE is stretched over 47.5 weeks, meaning that the entitlements change to 12 or 24 hours
per week respectively. Funded hours are available with limited space and are subject to availability over 48 weeks a year. There is a consumable charge of £15 per 6 hour funded session for children aged 3 months – 3 years and £12 per 6 hour funded session for children aged 3+ years and above and no longer in nappies

We accept all major childcare vouchers.

Emergency childcare

Where possible, we offer emergency childcare for parents of the local community if, for example, your regular au pair or childminder is sick on the day. The emergency care rate is £95 per day.

NB. The Nursery is also closed 3 days a year to allow for staff training and these dates are notified to parents in advance. There is no reduction in the payment of fees for when the nursery is closed on these training days.
